The Everpure 7CB5 finely filters contaminants such as dirt and particulate from tap water down to 5 microns in size. It reduces chlorine taste and odour and organic odours and colours that can affect the taste of beverages such as soft drinks as well as the clarity of ice. Water contaminants are the most likely reason for off-tastes and odours in a fountain drink. Operators may resort to adjusting the brix ratio to mask these concerns which only increases syrup costs; an expensive fix which directly impacts profit.
